2012 Update

Its been a busy few months. To start with, Chelsea (Can Ch. Sunwood’s Third Time’s a Charm) now has 4 pts! She won Best of Opposite Sex and Best of Winners last weekend at the Kansas City Golden Retriever Specialty, beating her mom who took Select Bitch. Chelsea then won winners the next two days at the all breed show.

Hope is now a Bronze Grand Champion (100 grand champion points) after winning back to back breeds at the Topeka, KS shows last weekend! She also won a Best of Opposite Sex at the Siberian Husky Club of the Twin Cities Specialty and a group three at the Manitowoc, WI show in April in addition to multiple best of breeds at all breed shows this year.

Chelsea is also being shown in obedience, and now has two legs to her CD. Robert Hanson, first time handler, is doing a wonderful job with her. Additionally, Chelsea has been featured in Target ads.

The other Lexus (BISS Am/Can Ch Hytee’s SixSigma’s Touch of Class CD RE OJP NAP NFP SDHF) daughter’s are also doing well in the show ring. Diva, owned by Laura Fourrie, won best of opposite sex last weekend over three specials. Millie, owned by LuAnn Runkle, won best bred by in sporting group, both at the Eau Claire, WI shows. They both have 5 pts now, and Millie has one major

Winnipeg Canada, Aug 11-14

Hope and Chelsea both finished their Canadian championships in one weekend! Chelsea is our first bred by champion! Hope finished with best of winners and best of opposite sex one day at the Siberian Husky Club of Canada Manitoba Regional, and she won winners the following day.

Memorial Day weekend

Hope started out the weekend with a bang on Saturday at the Key City Kennel Club shows by winning BOB and going on to win the working group under judge William Cunningham. She finished the weekend with a BOB on Sunday. Treasure also had her time in the spotlight, by qualifying in both Excellent jumpers with weaves preferred and Excellent standard preferred agility. She won both her classes and finished her titles with those qualifying scores. This brings Treasure’s title count up to 39.

Hope wins best of winners both days and finishes on Sunday with a 3 point major! She just turned one on Nov 26.

Hope has a spectacular weekend! Thursday and Friday she wins BOW for 2 points each day, and on Friday she is awarded Best Puppy in Show. On Saturday, under judge Keke Khan, she is awarded BOW for a 4 pt major, all at the young age of 7 months!

July 4th North Star Herding Dog Club Agility Trial

Jessica got to run Treasure in agility for the first time in 6 months while on leave. Treasure did very well and earned her OJP, which was her 32nd title. She also earned her first leg on her AXP. Lexus earned her second leg on her OJP. Good way to celebrate July fourth.

MN Summer Solstice Cluster June 24-27

Hope wins her first point by going Best of Breed on Thurs. She went on to make the cut in the regular group and win the puppy group.

Treasure earned her TD (therapy dog) title. She will now be visiting hospitals and nursing homes.

Chelsea and Hope compete in their first fun match. Chelsea takes a group two in the sporting group, and Hope takes a group 4 in the large working group of 10 puppies.
